Depending on who you run with a harness may put u in a different class.

I have an ecoboost so I was screwed from day one. I need an intercooler as the stock unit is crap and I'm pretty sure running one automatically puts me in CAM C. Once I saw that I decided to upgrade to what I want and not let a class dictate what I can do. I'm still a novice so it's gonna be years before I'm competitive anyways. Might as well have fun in the interim.

I have a 5-point in my car but I once used a buckle lock device on my 3 point seat belt which worked pretty good as far as keeping me in the seat.

Here a link:

it's also a less expensive route to try out before you commit to a full harness + roll/harness bar etc.

They don't work on ours. I bought one and it didn't fit. Fortunately they refunded me my money (less shipping).

I guess it's just a waiting game for companies to release products for the 18+ crowd
