I've found some conflicting reports on this.

I'd like to select this option, but I want my seats to remain black (ebony).

I'm hoping the premier trim only adds different color stiching, and more "soft-touch" features such as door panel, etc.

Am I accurate with this assumption?

You're correct.

The Ebony Premier trim option adds white stitching to many of the leather surfaces as well as the soft touch panels on the doors.

Just get it :) I didn't get it then after 3 weeks felt stupid that I held back 400 bucks for such a drastic change to the interior, so I called my dealer and added it on.

Just wanted to be sure it didn't change the seat color, only the stiching color.

Ordering next week.

Make sure when you order that you tell them to order Ebony, and not Red Line. I built my car online and send my dealer the PDF. I assumed they knew what to order. They ended up ordering Red Line. My car is in processing, hoping they can get mine changed.

True, unless you want Redline.

You can change most aspects of your order right up until it's scheduled, including interior/exterior colors and trim groups. Just can't change fundamentals like model (GT/EB). I added 68B about six weeks after I ordered originally, when I was still in Order Processing. No problem. Once it's scheduled, the internal ordering and blending wheels are turning and you really can't make changes anymore.

Also to clarify the PDF said Interior: Ebony. I knew I shouldn't have assumed.
