4 channel amp diag

i've had my BRX640.4 in my winter car for about 10 years with the same speakers all 4 speakers are 4 ohm, and lately they have been acting up. It doens't use any factory wiring between amp and aftermarket speakers. front right speaker doesn't play audio most of the time, and when it isnt working, the channel next to it, has some static to it. i measured out resistance on all 4 speakers at the amp. if i flip around the wiring of channel 1&2, the issue flips from front right to front left. is there any way use a multitmeter to check individual channels?
