325 tires for rear?

So, what’s the consensus ? Does Billy Johnson’s argument make sense (ie, that a 295/305 combo would be preferable/optimum for cornering/handling with R spec wheels) ? Was intending to go 305/325 4S, been thinking about 305 square, then came across this thread. It does seem like having an actual section width equal to or slightly smaller than the wheel width would work better.

Cannot speak to driving dynamics yet as I just put my 4s' on, but I can tell you the 325 looks substantially wider than the 315 cup2. It's a much more of "square" look vs the slight stretch of the cup2. I found my 325's for cheap, otherwise I would take Billy's advice.

I have been running 305/325 Cup 2's for several years. 14 track days, 5 mil. Tread remaining. Love them in the rain after getting them hot, starting at 34# cold.
