Before you go out and re-camber, remove the wheel and tire, check inside the wheel housing and you should see some rubbing marks, at times it may just be a section of the carpeting inside, we had a client doing 315 ser that had a slight rub, we simply got in with a blade and made the proper cutting to the carpeting nicely though and properly, this got rid of all the rubbing and only cost us the time to remove the wheel and the cost for a 99 cent blade:cheers:can u guys show me an s550with 305 or wider tires with the -1.5 camber. would highly appreciate it.
That's a good idea, BUT whoever originally aligned the car set the rear camber way off from even what factory calls for. What he has now is what's spec from factory. Before you go out and re-camber, remove the wheel and tire, check inside the wheel housing and you should see some rubbing marks, at times it may just be a section of the carpeting inside, we had a client doing 315 ser that had a slight rub, we simply got in with a blade and made the proper cutting to the carpeting nicely though and properly, this got rid of all the rubbing and only cost us the time to remove the wheel and the cost for a 99 cent blade:cheers:
