25th Wedding Anniversary

Thought I would share a quick story.

It was my 25th Wedding Anniversary on December 22, 2015. My wife wanted a new ring (wedding set) to commemorate this milestone. I agreed and off we went shopping. During this process she asked me what I was going to pick out, I told her that what I am picking out is not sold by jewelry stores.

Long story short - she got her new ring set, I got my new GT350. And to top it all off, would you believe the first scratch I get on my car while in the garage this past weekend is my wife walking to close to the car and hitting it with her hand with her new ring on.

The scratch hurt more than the cost of her ring! At least we both have what we wanted.

How big is the scratch?

Before the GT350, my daily driver was an 05 RSX, and there are at least 3 scratches on the glove box from my wife's engagement ring. The longest one is about a foot. I still am unsure how she managed to do it, but usually just try to laugh about it now.

Sometimes the cost of the diamond isn't just what you pay the jewelry store.

It's less expensive to get a new GT350 and keep the wife.

"I was not impressed with your last GT, but this car is amazing" She has gone so far to say, she wants one of her own. I have talked her off that ledge and now to quote her last night "I will settle for a GT performance pack, convertible"

Before this car I couldn't get her to go anywhere with me in my previous GT, now I can't keep her out or away from it..!! This car must have some sort of Voodoo! :lol:

This was my thought as well. She realizes she got the short end with just a ring when she could have gotten a sweet new ride.
