Doubt you would I see more 22s in LA then anything and our roads arent great.

Plus these are strong in design

I guess I just don't get it. Aside from the fact that I don't care for the look, why buy a performance car and immediately make it perform worse? Rims that large will also take a toll on suspension components. The smaller the aspect ratio, the higher the loads.

You need to recalibrate.

Imagine a guy sitting behind the wheel with a color matching mohawk hairdo, and in a few years a bubble raised in the roof for more mohawk clearance.

Cars are about very different things for folks.
