Nice!

I got a notification early this morning that mine was shipped. It's now "in transit". God knows where, but it's progress and I'll take it.

Mine was the same way. Got the shipping note at about 3am. 12 hours later, it was in final prep. Congrats!

I will say that Leavy is not the most responsive. I would just start over and get hooked into somone else. I feel for you on the rest. If my car had taken any longer, I was ready to walk. For me this was a want 20+ years in the making, not a need. Even though I waited this long, its nonsense to get jerked around or left hanging for no reason and the dealer certainly doesnt deserve your money at that point. My .02.
I closed out, gave him low marks, and reconnected with another agent who told me it was still sitting in the yard and told me my ETA window again.
Roughly in the same boat. This is an affordable dream car for me. I had a '17 but it was T-boned, so I've just been waiting for the color to come around again - and this one will be far better and more suited for my preferences. The car I currently have is perfectly fine. At some point, my stubbornness will kick in and I'll wait forever just so the dealer can't screw over some guy with their $5-10k markup and so I can drag them across the coals for not communicating well (plus I'm pretty sure they got my seats wrong).

Can't wait to see yours and live vicariously through the pics for a little while!

since the dealer ordered me a no spoiler car because of their screw up its only a few weeks out so i decided to wait on that one instead of having them fix the car that is here.

i also got em to knock another grand off the price. that brings my new price to 47879 out the door for a PP1 301A car with nickel luster wheels. that's 2k under msrp out the door :)

all's well that ends well, i guess.

Well, i don’t see anyone posting that they received a scheduling email today and there was no production schedule update info on the Blue Oval forum this week. I guess that’s Fords answer to scheduling problems, just ignore them.

At least now I can understand those that got tired of waiting and went elsewhere and bought a different brand! Their bitterness is totally understandable. The only problem with my doing that is that I can’t think of anything that will give me the same bang for the buck! I’m not going to go out and spend $10-20K more just for that instant gratification.

I just spoke with my dealer who let me know that my Mustang Coastal Edition convertible has been built (may be still on the line for the special stripes). Not sure exactly when it will arrive in Houston and which of the two rail yards will handle final delivery to the dealer. Crossing my fingers now.

I know you want your car NOW, but in this new world a little patience is necessary. It’s only been six weeks since you ordered it. Many are still waiting for months and months. I picked mine up last week — six months after I ordered it! Great car. Well built. Frustrating, but worth the wait. The scheduling for October is done and, based upon past patterns, Nov scheduling will be done the 3rd or 4th week of September. This might vary since this will be the last scheduling for MY22, which ends production 3rd week of Nov. End of Nov start producing MY23. So, anxiety for getting scheduled for MR22 is understandable.

Good luck! Hope everyone who has orders in gets their cars built. For us old timers, production has been steady since May with no shutdowns due to lack of parts. What we’ve been seeing the past couple of weeks is adjustments to schedules, probably related to certain parts availability. I’m glad they shift things around and produce those fit which they have the parts!

The thing that really amazes me is that some dealers oversell what they can get allocated — and there is a big difference between dealers with Ford. Definitely competition and different rankings for dealers. And Ford and the dealers keep that pretty well hidden. I think that’s the reason there is little transparency. Just my thoughts!

That’s the way it was with mine. It was produced, but was not changed to BUILT and released for shipping for several days. Yeah buddy, it’s getting there!!!

my second one is scheduled to be built next week. the first one was scheduled for 8/8 and got to the dealer on 8/29 so that's 3 weeks from start to arrival. not bad. hopefully this one makes it here that fast, too.

My car was built a week ago now, it's still sitting in Michigan unshipped.

I have a feeling that we should have made a spreadsheet or something for reference. 🤔
I know some are having to or did wait absolute ages. Some get a turnaround of a day. Seems very location-based, but mostly just dumb luck, yeah?
Maybe if I'm bored at work tomorrow I'll try to compile one.

So I got the 45 day email today and that supply chain issues blah, blah, blah.

kinda funny I know the car has been built because of the As built data. So I figure I will get the it’s built on Friday. The same way I got a production delay email and the next day I got the window sticker.

The dealer thinks they will receive the car around Sept 17th. I'm probably going to get the paint sealed and the windows tinted and get a ceramic coating applied to the paint (depending on the cost.)

Hi folks,

I've got a Convertible Mustang on order to UK with an est arrival date of early Oct, it was meant to be built on Aug 20th, no idea if it has or if it's been delayed. I don't suppose anyone could get me an update on its progress using the VIN I've been supplied. VIN is: PF5N5130468

My dealer isn't so good with updates... It's a bit like pulling teeth getting anything from them.

Cheers if anyone can help.

Thanks,
Doylum.
