Well, made the deal happen, flew out and picked it up today. Stopped at a hotel for the night and finishing the journey home in the morning. Definitely over the moon! Turns out that a sales guy at the dealer happened to order the exact spec I was after and something came up for him so he didn't take the car when it came in. Very happy and feel lucky to get it! Mischievous purple is even better than I expected!

That color is so cool, I was between MP, GBM and EG for mine. Went with GBM but MP is really cool. Congrats!

I just checked the Order Guide and the B&O sound pkg is NOT included and is an option (option 583). So if not listed, you are not getting it. Might still be able to get it added, but needs to be done immediately.
If you click on the “Track my Order” link on the email from Ford with your VIN, you can review everything included in your order. You definitely want to see it in writing!

Your dealer had done well in getting you scheduled so quickly!

Thanks, after some back and forth and me being persistent, dealer finally did update the order to include the B&O and sent me an updated form to sign. Since I had already received a production date of 8/29 I’m not sure if this will change that or not. I did notice I can no longer pull up the VIN on the order status but I will wait for the config I want.

Traveling this week,, Rental car place says "would you like a Dodge Charger?" I says "I would prefer a Mustang" and the old mare, that should have been put out to pasture, I was provided with just makes me that much more excited for the Mach1!!! The rental is a Red convertible, 45k on the odo, and smells like dog (validated by the dog hair in the folds of the ebrake) and powered by the ecoboost!!!

Still better than a Charger!!!
