I ordered Carbonized Gray March 17 mine just got moved from June 27 to July 18th

Same. I ordered on April 18th though. I was hoping it would get through production before the two week shutdown at the beginning of July. Guess not!

Order Update: Build date was moved up.
4/1 order date.
6/22 production was moved up and it currently shows as “in production.” Blend date on window sticker shows 6/21. Number 111/790. So about 11 weeks from order to production at a metro area dealer.

I have not received any emails through this process so I have no clue when it actually went into production.

Hoping like hell this thing gets here before my road-trip on 7/10. We’ll see.

Its ready!! Dealer just called me, the 5.5 month wait is finally over. Going pick it up today assuming financing goes smooth

Ordered: 12/27/21
First Build week of May 2nd received: March 25th
Build week pushed back to week of May 9th: April 22nd
Build week pushed back again to week of May 23rd: April 29th
Tracker moved to “in production”: may 18th (but I don’t think anything actually changed)
Window sticker became available: may 23rd
Blend date showed May 27th, 2/399 in queue
Received “built” email: may 27th, same as blend date
Shipped: may 31st (day before was a holiday) with estimated arrival June 26th-July 2nd
And finally, dealer called me today for pickup: June 15th, a week and a half before estimated delivery date

My car is at the dealer, it arrived there last week. I'm waiting on the dealer to get things sorted so I can take delivery. It sounded like they had a bunch of cars arrived and they are behind on deliveries. I placed my order 7 months ago, today.

Build Configuration: 2022 Mustang GT Fastback (Shadow Black, 10-Speed Automatic, 301A), Active Valve Performance Exhaust, and Ford Safe and Smart package.

Order-to-Delivery Timeline: (about 17 weeks in length)

• 2/14/2022 Went to Dealer and placed an order.
• 2/18/2022 Received the first email from Ford confirming the order.
• 3/25/2022 The second email arrived saying my car would be built the week of 5/2/2022. VIN assigned.
• The third email arrived 3/31/2022 saying my build week was being moved up to 5/9/2022
• The fourth email arrived 4/7/2022, saying my build week was being moved to 5/16/2022. Window sticker was now viewable
• The fifth email arrived 4/29/2022, saying my build week was being moved to 5/23/2022.
• Blend/Build Date (indicated by Window Sticker) seen as 5/24/2022.
• The sixth email arrived 6/3/2022, saying the car was built. Expected delivery to my dealer (in Texas), is estimated to be 6/29/2022 to 7/5/2022.
• The seventh email arrived 6/6/2022, saying the car was shipped. Expected delivery to my dealer (in Texas), is estimated to be 6/29/2022 to 7/5/2022.
• 6/15/2022 I got a call from my dealership saying the car arrived earlier that morning.

After a full day of driving across my state and back from my dealer (I moved 4 1/2 hours away since I first ordered the car and my dealer doesn’t deliver), the car is finally in my hands, bringing the end of this journey that started this thread in the first place. No, I won’t close the thread, you all are free to keep tracking your cars and sharing stories, I still enjoy reading them, as well.

My full timeline was
January 31st - Order
March 3rd - Scheduled for Production
May 14th - Built
June 14th - Arrived at Dealer
June 15th - Took Delivery

You totally can demand proof of life. Believe me, I did before I drove almost 5 hours to my dealer.
