6 weeks in a rail yard?!? Did you see this similar thread on the forum (link below):Annoyingly, it doesn't much matter that you get a build date....My M1 has been Ordered, Built, and Shipped. But it has been at a rail yard in AZ for 6 weeks now.
Every week they extend the ETA to the dealer and no one is giving up any information as to why the delay.
Good luck to all.
Yes... I have seen and been part of that thread.... Latest info from my dealer yesterday was it is on a "Plant Hold", but no further info as to why.6 weeks in a rail yard?!? Did you see this similar thread on the forum (link below):

Ford cant move quickly if they dont have the parts to complete them. Ford can pump out a 1000 Stangs a week, but parts/chips.Placed an order yesterday for a GT Premium Convertible. The dealer was upfront about the plant being closed and order fulfillment being a bit unpredictable. But, they seemed optimistic that retail orders will start moving quickly over the coming months so they can get Flat Rock retooled for the S650.

Ordered 4/1: Atlas Blue/Midnight Blue GT Convertible: 401A, Auto, PP, MR, AE, B&O.
Updates as they happen.
Thanks for sharing the screenshot, from your Vehicle Visibility Report (VVR). I did some searches through the F-150, Bronco and Lincoln Aviator forums, as I was getting similar "Plant Hold" hits and wanted to see if anyone there could better explain it. The only thing I found was that for someone on the Lincoln forum, they had their "ETA Disposition" field from their VVR populated with this information: "Micro Chip At Plant On Hold". Your ETA Disposition is blank, so that leaves it a mystery.Yes... I have seen and been part of that thread.... Same here. The folks on the Ford Motorsport chat line said it goes down often....Just curious, has anyone been able to use the online order tracker lately? It's been telling me "This vehicle is not yet available in order tracking at this time, please check back later" for about a week now
Yeah… that’s the point… hence the optimism. They think those problems will be resolved soon in order to get assembly back up and running. Time will tell, we will see.Ford cant move quickly if they dont have the parts to complete them. Ford can pump out a 1000 Stangs a week, but parts/chips.
What day did you receive the “it’s built” email? Curious because I got mine on April 1st and wondering how long before I get the “it’s shipped” email.Still not able to use the online tracking since I received a email car has been built. But received this good news today.

Part of the reason I’m asking is I’m seriously thinking about selling my 2017 Mustang via Carvana. They are offering me about $1,000 over KBB trade value. The two times I considered trading mine in at a dealer my trade offers were way under KBB…so I’m thinking maybe I should take the Carvana cash to remove the uncertainty with trading. The advantage of trading could save me about $1,200 in taxes, but it does no good if the trade offer is $3,000 - $4,000 less than Carvana.
