i would think that if any of our cars were stolen we'd get an email about it pretty fast. hopefully i get that shipped email soon.

i almost tried calling the police department in that town to see if they were lookin for my vin

if they stole any custom builds do you guys think ford would do anything to ease the pain?
like in the form of dollars? cause this is a serious security fail.

I certainly would hope they would, but in reality....doubt it very much.

IDK... In 1998 I had a brand new Ranger never make it off the factory lot in St. Paul before it got smashed up pretty bad by hail. All they did was give me the exact same pricing on a 99 than they did for the 98.

The latest excuse from Ford is that there are problems with the delivery of the components for TCU / Wifi Hotspot.

Probably again a lie, because Ford wanted to deliver all 22 models without Wifi Hotspot and in return they give a 20$ discount.

Hell, in the meantime, even my child would have been born had I conceived one....

I got the $20 discount for the hotspot delete on the one I got delivered on Saturday. Not that I wanted a wifi hotspot, but I thought it odd that the delete was on there... Now if only they would have let me delete the rear seat...

hail is an act of God. crappy security resulting in something happening again is entirely on the fault of the company especially when it has to be an internal security issue.

someone leaked whatever data was necessary to make the keys to these cars.
they coded the fobs, came in, and just took them.

I agree although they probably didn’t have to copy fob codes. They’re in the cars already.

That’s my understanding, that way they can just drive them onto trucks/rail cars when they’re ready to ship. Too many fobs and cars to try to match up otherwise

I just received an updated production week email. It was pushed back a week. Hopefully it comes before the snow.
