Hey everybody,
Quick question, I'm looking at a set of 20x10 with 40mm offset TSW bronze Nurb wheels. My car is a 15 ecoboost preformance package lowered on a set of steeda progressive springs. I would be running a 275/30r20 tire and I just want to make sure it will fit with no rubbing before I pull the trigger. I want a squared setup not a staggard setup.
Thank you for everybody's time

Very interested in this answer, jumping in with my car specs.

So is there any consensus that I can run 275/35/20's SQUARE with no issues on the 2016 GT?

Depends on each wheels design. Spokes, etc. Read the stickied thread at the top of the Wheel Forum, and just pour through all the pages. See what you like. Search square setup for the sub-forum. +40 seems to often need a spacer or some gentle dust cover tapping to get center caps to fit. Especially on the GT PP cars.

I have a GT running a 20x10 +38 (then added a 5mm spacer) so +33 with a 285/35/20 tire and have no rubbing issues at all. I ran it with Steeda progressives for 8 months before switching out for their Ultralite linears.

Thanks for the quick response, mine isn't a PP so just have the 4 piston breaks.

I'm thinking about Niche Targas in 20" w/Nitto NT555 SQUARE, and was just looking to double check and make sure their isn't an issue. Sounds like it should work.

I did a lot of work on my old S197 and just upgraded to the S550 so need to learn more about it.

Here are 2 pictures showing by 20x10 running a 285/35/20. Lots of room.

But what offset are those? Yes, 20x10 can work in the front. The offset, and brand of wheel will matter though. It seems like the +30 to +35 range is more ideal
+33 with the 5mm space for center cap clearance.

the specs are good, but you need a 5 mm spacer upfront for additional caliper clearance since the wheel concave is so deep, It was what do for our all members rocking the wheels in that spec upfront.

Let me know if I can help.

20x10 front with 285/35/20 lowered and no rubbing.

Rears are 20x11 with 315's so you wont have any problems with the same, smaller, size when put in the rear.
