Howdy,

Hopefully this is in the correct category, If not I will gladly close and move this thread.

I have a 2020 GT Premium and am having a few weird issues with HVAC controls, and am curious if anyone has come across something similar, or have a potential solution(s) to this problem.

On my car, the HVAC controls are disobedient at best. One issue I have is the absolute inability to turn off A/C other than completely turning off the HVAC system entirely (no blowers at all). Another is the inability to turn off the defrost setting, even when it is not selected on the SYNC screen. Sometimes the front blowers do not function, but I can get lucky by changing a few blower settings, in which I have found that by running the defroster and the front vents, I can finally (but sporadically) run the front vents. If I select only the front vents, my defroster still blows despite it not being selected. Auto A/C sounds like it cycles vent motors, then may default to defroster only.

The blowers don’t make any strange sounds. To me this issue appears to be a confusion on the communication between the buttons I press for my desired vents, and what the HVAC system actually does.

Is this a fuse problem? Is there a HVAC positioning relearning procedure?

Any suggestions are much appreciated!
