2020 GT exhaust identify?

Hello,

I just picked up a black 20 GT PP1 and I was wondering which exhaust I have on it? Is it the stock, because it does have a FoMoCo tag on it. I did a google search but there's no real info about it. Its ID is F1-8867-L 276 C

Can't tell much from that, a farther shot would be helpful.

But, because of the ribbed muffler is pretty much means it's the stock non-active exhaust. I don't know of any aftermarket mufflers that look like that. It should resemble this:

It shouldn't be that loud, especially not "wake up the neighborhood" loud. I wonder if you have a resonator delete in the middle. Can you take a picture of that area where it connects to the cat pipes? It's either a straight pipe or a big dual in/dual out muffler. I bet you don't have that which is why it's so loud.

I'll take a pic tonight but I looked online and I believe that resonator is there. I may be a bit over-dramatic with wake up the neighborhood. I just haven't driven in a GT and it's louder than I'm used to.

Completely stock non-active exhaust.

Maybe check for exhaust leaks, especially around the clamps, if you think it's loud.

Although it's pretty tame compared to aftermarket options, I found the stock non active GT exhaust to be surprisingly loud on cold starts. When I replaced my 3.7 V6 (Borla S type catback) with my '19 GT, the nextdoor neighbor remarked right away that the GT was louder even with the stock exhaust. The V6 with Borla was actually quite a bit louder in normal driving, but he was judging only by cold starts, lol.

Mine pulled about 98 db @ 4 foot on a cold start. You want to know what loud is? Go to an NHRA event and wait for the Alcohol dragsters. I find them just a hair louder than Nitro.

I’m coming from an ecoboost and quieter vehicles so I’m still adjusting to how loud this car actually is.
