This may have been covered before but when does 2019 production start. I have a 19 on order and wondering when I might expect to see it.

First production date is 6/13/2018. From what I understand Ford is not delaying the start of retail orders to build dealer stock, but they won't ship until the OK To Buy is released which I believe is five straight days of production without any issues on the line. So, depending on how smooth early production goes, your dealer's allocation, and the priority code assigned to your order, it could be possible as soon as mid to late July.

Also, if you have your order number and dealer number you can start checking COTUS for updates. MY19 scheduling began 4/19/2018.

You already have a VIN for your build? Nice. I ordered mine on the 6th of April and still have not received any updates at all.

Check over on the Blue Oval Mustang forums. They have some great members with access to Ford directly who will check your build. Significantly more accurate and timely then COTUS from what I understand.

Have many people been given 2019 schedule dates yet? I see a few have. I ordered mine a month ago from a pretty large/high volume dealership, but haven't heard anything. I'm a bit surprised given the dealer's size there's no ETA yet, so I'm wondering if I should be at all concerned...

Still waiting on my Bullitt to be scheduled. My dealer has an allocation, but I am still unscheduled as of 5/11. Others have dates, even some in Canada. Frustrating to not be on the schedule when I ordered day one, and was certainly one of the very first orders submitted. I know 2 or 3 Bullitts in my region at larger dealerships were scheduled last week. In the words of Vizzini, "I'M WAITING!!!!"

Update: I called Ford and spoke to the Marketing Program people. They said to contact the person who does ordering at my dealership and have them speak with their "higher ups" at Ford. Evidently those people have visibility into why a car hasn't been scheduled yet. Coincidently, Ford contacted my dealership today to ask for the order number for their Bullitt allocation and said it will be manually scheduled sometime this month (scheduled not built!).

UMDrummer, if you have your order number and dealer number, you can call Ford Performance at 800-367-3788, then option 1, they will check the build status for you.
If you don't have the order number and dealer number, call your dealership and ask for your DORA (may as well have them check the build status while you're at it). I've seen a couple people mention they've been told that dealerships don't use DORAs anymore. They do, I have one for my 2019 Bullitt.

Good to hear you will be getting the date this month, especially for a Bullitt!

I do have my order number and dealer number. It was confirmed in the system before mid-April.

I've chatted with Ford Performance online, and called my dealer twice (most recently 5/10/18). All I'm being told by everyone is that it's unscheduled-clean, but no other explanation. My dealer keeps saying how they are one of the top dealerships in sales in the country, and so it will get done quickly...so that makes me wonder even more WHY it isn't scheduled yet.

We ordered a 2018 GT Premium in Kona Blue with PP1 on April 27 but then found out it'll be a 2019 and the dealer is eating the slightly higher base cost. So that's cool. We havent re-pulled the trigger on placing the order b/c we're waiting to see how the rebates work. Plus it'd be better for us financially if it arrived after Aug 1. Can't wait for it to all happen!

BTW, UMDrummer, I'm also a drummer. I play a Pearl Masterworks kit, hence my "MustangWorks" :)

Congrats Mustangworks! Are you scheduled yet? If not, it is a guarantee it will arrive after Aug 1. Cars scheduling this week will be built the week of 7/16. (info from the thread you started on BoF)

Thanx! No, not scheduled. So based on that, would you suggest I schedule it 3 weeks from now, which will put it around early August?

I don't have an exact answer for you, but even if you ordered today, it is not likely you'd get a date scheduled this week. Once it is built, it will be a few weeks until you see the car (depends on train car schedule, where you are, etc.) I'd wager if you ordered today, you're not going to see the car until mid August. I don't know that there is an exact science since there are a lot of variables. When are you hoping for delivery? From what I saw, you just wanted it after 8/1.

Yeah, after Aug 1 b/c we're supposed to get a bonus thru work around that day, so that would help with the downpayment. Just trying to be safe. And I'm alittle north of Nashville

Well, from what I've gathered on the forums, if you order after this week, your build will be the week of 7/23 or later. That depends on your dealer allocation, order priority etc. Then once the car is built, you'll be queued up at the rail yard waiting for a full train, then travel time, unload at the rail yard, and delivery to your dealership. So mid-August at best. If you wait on dealer allocation or other common delays, you'll be even later.
From what I've pieced together tracking my build, you'll definitely be after August 1st at this point. I would think you're safe to order any time, but that is my opinion based on observation and research over the past few months, take it with a grain of salt.
