2019 GT CS 10spd shift points

Driving home in rush hour traffic today I noticed the trans shifted from 1-3-5-7-8 at 35 mph I was in 8th gear aprox 1700rpms. I definitely downshifts a little hard at times. When I did put in sport plus it reslly shifter hard especially downshifting. Is this normal for this trans?

Thanks I did some investigation and it does appear to be normal. I also been reading about sone class action suit trying to be started with regards to the 10spd trans but that may be truck and suv related
