2018 Mustang Orders Placed Thread (Vote/Share Here)

My dealer can't do much about it. They put the order in as soon as it was allowed by Ford, and they submitted as a stock order. I am noticing mostly premiums hitting dealerships, so maybe the cloth seat interior cars were held back a bit. I sort of wish I ordered premium now.

Mine is a premium but I think mine will be harder cause I got everything except recarros on mine. Last I heard from my dealer was it'll be built the week of the 18th. And my EDD was 1/11. But my EDD got deleted. So now it's up in the air. I'm just waiting to see on Cotus that it's in production.

What all did you order? So far my parents are getting me an X-pipe for Xmas. I told them no gifts this year (I'm 35 and well paid), but they insisted. I won't fight that one. I think the first stuff I purchase will be an intake and tuner.

I got a set of wheels and tires for winter, also a LED bulb for the reverse light, brake light sequencer, and an aluminum hood latch handle. Also looking into hood struts, researching on which brand to get, right now I'm thinking redline tuning or roush.

I'm not too worried about the plastic part failing over time, getting this is mainly because of the looks.

Ohhhh for inside the cab. For some reason I thought you were replacing the under-hood latch (which I'd guess is steel) to an aluminum one.

Yeah, that I won't touch, also thinking about deleting the sound tube, so I might get a sound tube delete kit when I get the car, will need to listen to the sound and see if it annoys me enough.

We ordered the same day, same city. Just different dealers. Mine is Premium, but delayed until January. Frustrating. Based on your posts, I think you should get yours before me.

finally settled on the roush hood struts, compared a lot of different ones and these have the largest surface area which will help prevent bending, also all brackets requires two bolts to hold which I think will be a lot sturdier than just one bolt, especially considering the parts they connect to will apply force to turn the bracket.

My EDD just reappeared on cotus, still the same one so everything should be on track.

my car was built on wednesday, awaiting transport still now. My edd still kept saying delivery date was 12/5, 3 days to go which i know would not happen.

Today it now says awaiting transport, but delivery date has changed to 12/20, 17 days to go, so the wait continues again and starts over. hopefully before Christmas they get it in from the storage lot.

I ordered mine on July 28th and will be thrilled if I get my car by the "estimated" delivery date of January 12th! My dealer is already preparing me for yet another delay because of the holiday shut down.:rant:

here is what the dealer gave me today when i stopped by to see them. i did see a kona blue and a lightning blue, they both looked nice and were 2 colors i was deciding on.
