2018+ gt fuel systems - ono or two fuel pressure regulators?

hey guys

checking fuel systems for 2018 mustangs gt the popular being gt500 modified fuel hat with return(aka Sai Li Dual Pump Return Style Fuel System) other option - Fore with dual fuel pressure regulators.
I understand additional fuel regulator is needed to keep constant pressure of DI and boost referenced for other injectors. But why Sai Li is missing that and what drawbacks not having it?
Any other differences between those 2? excluding of course possibility to run 3 pumps with Fore.

How much power are you trying to make on it? If you know for a fact you don't want more than 800ish ever, then Sai Li kit would be a great option for the price. Hit me up and I can get you a great deal on his kit. Lethalperformance.com

I have the fore system with only the single reg. Told them I planned in around 1000ish and they said I would be just fine. I’m not pushing it yet but I have not had any issues.

No, dual regulators are not needed for any power level you may run on a gen 3. The dual regulators strategy came out back when the engine first came out and tuners did not know how it would all work(FORE still has this warning on their site).

The concern was that you could not drop the pressure using vacuum/boost reference on the DI system for fear of boiling the fuel(this concern came from the tune having a table that targets 58psi as its lowest pressure).

How ever it's been 2 years and tuners are quite familiar with how the DI controls function, they don't need to worry about manifold pressure in order to calculate the correct delta, DI injectors are spraying at 2900+psi, the manifold having a extra 10, or 15psi in the manifold is negligible against 2900psi of DI pressure. So all they need to do is worry about PI like they always have in 11-17's. Once you start pushing higher levels of boost tuners will also scale back the DI blend and you end up with the DI system only supplying 30-40% of the fuel to begin with and most of your fueling coming from the port injectors.

So aftermarket single regulator kits using a static fuel pressure, say 60psi, will function perfectly fine w/o any side affects, the DI pump will function, the PI system will function.

so how does it work with one FPR? your fuel feed comes to HPFP, with static fuel pressure on FPR you make sure DI gets lets say 58psi. Where the return goes from this FPR and how PI gets feed?

It works like it does any other fuel system, you can run the rails in series or parallel, in series you run the feed through bank 1, then across to bank 2, finally to the FPR where you return excess fuel to the tank. The DI is fed off the same hose that is connected to bank 1 rail.

Parallel you run your feed to a Y block, split the feed to run through b1 and b2, then connect the rails at the regulator where excess fuel is returned to the tank. The DI is fed off the same hose that is connected to bank 1 rail.

The sai is single, the fore is 1 or 2, your choice, really comes down to what your tuner like. I know Jr. still likes the dual setup. Not to say the single can't handle it. But they still like the dual setup.

We run two in our kits. The Sai systems run one. As others said, using one requires the DI logic to be used.

We have the Sai kits on sale (with your goals - would not recommend) and our systems on sale. Twin 525 will support 1.1k or so. If you want to just do it once and forget about it, triple 465 will get it done. We used triple 465's to support 1400hp on E85. We now use it on our '18 and run ~ 1100whp. Let us know if we can help out.. remember you'll need adequate injector as well.
