Hi everyone👋 i have a 2018 mustang gt (Australia) and was just playing around with forescan before which i enabled the following features-
- Line lock.
- rear diff temp gauge.
- Ford performance Cobra splash screen on both turn car on and turn car off.
- Autolock when over 25kmh (16mph).
- vacuum/boost gauge.
- performance shift.
- Oil pressure gauge.

What i was wondering is the oil pressure gauge is enabled on the digital dash cluster BUT it isnt active- QUESTION- is there a way to make it work (maybe through a tune because forescan wont activate it) or does anyone know the part number for the actual oil pressure sender to make it work?

Ohhh and have also ordered my Wengerd 93 + E85 tunes off him for my whipple stage 2 set up😎👌.

Thankyou👍😎👌

Attached are a few threads involving installing Performance Pack gauges in non-PP cars.

For the V8s, it reads a tune was not required. The mod did involve some wiring changes.

https://www.mustang6g.com/forums/threads/how-to-swap-pp-gauges-into-standard-model.38818/

For the V6s, changes via a tune were needed. The mod also involved wiring changes.

https://www.mustang6g.com/forums/threads/install-pp-gauges-on-non-pp-model-recap.99467/

Both mods involved installing the gauge cluster. I did not study the threads deeper to see if the gauges could be made operational in the Instrument Panel Cluster.

I am interested also. Why Ford Aust would not enable the oil pressure gauge in a Mach 1 is beyond me
I called Mustang Motorsport in Melbourne today and their mechanics said that the Aus loom is different to the American one. So you can’t swap the oil pressure switch for a sender and expect it to work as wiring is different too

Sorry I’m a little confused here. The photo you posted shows the gauges in the digital cluster that I’m talking about still reading zero.
Does the Wengerd tune get them working or are we talking about the three gauge pod you have?.

Yes, (disregard the triple gauge pod on top of the dash) The actual oil pressure gauge is turned on through forescan (appears on the dash BUT wont work) and the wengerd tune got the oil pressure gauge actually activated on the digital dash which reads in bar, the trans temp is already an option from factory on there and the diff oil temp is activated through forescan, i had just started the car at the time i took that photo and the oil pressure one is on and working but the diff oil temp and the trans oil temp were still at zero because i hadnt gone anywhere yet.

You’re a bloody legend!
you have single handedly been more helpful then all of the mustang specific performance shops and my local stealership.
I really appreciate it

I had a Digital Instrument Cluster fitted by My Stangs Mods in Broadmeadows Melbourne to my 2016/17 GT. Everything, but the Oil Pressure Gauge worked, after doing some research online and through this Forum. The 2016/17 GT Mustang is fitted with an Oil Pressure Switch and that will need to be replace with an Oil Pressure Sensor P/N CM5Z9D290B as well as a 3 pin Sensor Connector Wiring Kit P/N AU2Z14S411GA. Then some mods to the PCM wiring have to be done as well. This thread was the one I used and it worked.
