Started playing around with the tune on hptuners. Wow is a ton left on the table with these calibrations. Limits all over the place.
I did baseline pulls when I first got it. Learned that they (dealers)put 91 octane mixed with 89 octane fuel in it when I got it. I still did some tuning and made some gains with the crappy fuel, but on a fresh tank of 93 octane I had some large gains with tuning.
Both of these tests were done with a garrett intercooler and a 3" turboback.
So I did 3 pulls today on the stock tune file, 1 OAR(2018s will show a 1 for adding timing and a -1 for pulling timing....) Here are the results. With an OAR of 1 it actually pulled timing first pull, so that is why there is one lower. 2 and 3 stabilized and gave a clean result.
Then I loaded my map in I have been working on and started playing. Got up to 350 tq and 309 hp.
Lots of stuff left on the table. Hptuners does't have everything defined nor loggable. Shooting in the dark for limiters at the moment but got a jump start in the right direction.
