I’m hopefully getting a 2018 Ecoboost Premium soon, but I can’t seem to figure out if the GT, PP1 or PP2 chin spoilers will work with the car...

Anybody know if they are compatible? Are there mods or extra parts (bedpan, etc) required?

I thought somebody posted this question before, but I can’t seem to find the thread!

Thanks!!!

I have the RTR chin spoiler on my 2018 non PP GT. I posted some details in this thread, let me know if you need anything else.

Thanks!!! That helps a lot actually!!!
Where did you get the PP belly pan and how much was it?
I paid $127 for pickup from a local dealer. You can get it from many online stores such as LevvitownFordParts, Autonation Ford White Bear Lake, etc.

Thanks a lot! I just saw the part number on your original post.
Sounds like it was a little hard to install?
I'll give it a shot though!

Thanks again!

Not too hard, but it isn't direct bolt on you'll have to make minor modifications. Wish i could have taken more pictures, but you'll have to drill some holes to bolt on the rear portion of PP belly pan. Also, the PP belly pan has air ducts for cooling the brakes. So you'll have to cut the fender liner in a rectangular shape if you need cooling for the brakes.

Krishna,
Thanks again!
I already ordered my belly pan and PP splitter.

Do you have to cut the holes for the brake cooling or is that totally optional?
Was the belly pan hard to bolt on after drilling the holes?

Any other hints or recommendations?

Looks great, what springs do you have? And is that stock grille ?
Cervini grill and BMR springs. Not that much of a drop but good enough for me.

Just a update on rtr splitter without pp splash shield. That little gap that's left behind caught some high water and tore the bottom of my bumper off. Ima just go back to stock after replacing the bumper.

Wow, never thought that little gap could cause something like this ! Sorry to hear that. I replaced mine with PP splash shield since it was cheap about 130 bucks, but i haven't driven in rain/snow so far. Hopefully it holds up.

Btw, there's a new splitter option that came out recently, which is slightly cheaper and looks better IMO.

Sorry to see your bumper was torn off!
You have me a little worried.

Is the splash shield also referred to as a belly pan? I ordered the PP1 chin spoiler and belly pan. They are on their way to Japan.

Yes, this only happened because I hit alot of water during a flash flood. Wasnt that high but was enough to get into that gap and yank everything backwards
