We have been very happy with both our Steeda tune & the Lund tune - both are great!

And yes, the CAI only saw issues during the Flex tune.

Best Regards,

TJ
I'm a newbie .....can you share more what that means regarding flex tune?

For a flex tune to work properly fuel trims need to be very stable as the ECU learns the ethanol content based on fuel trims. For straight gas/E85 the ECU does not require this. Logs showed variance of 15% or more at idle when testing.

Allows you to run E85 or 93 pump gas without flashing the computer in between.

I guess what I'm asking is a say.....93 tune better than flex tune?
It makes sense that a specific type of tune has its advantages

But
How does the cai turbulence described play into the type of tune?

Just reiterating my previous post to address this. If going with a 93 octane tune or a straight e85 tune the turbulence is not an issue.

On a flex tune, however, the turbulence will prevent it from running correctly due to the inability to properly learn the ethanol content.
