2018 Back up camera is terrible

I bought my 2018 in July of this year and everytime I use my backup camera the quality is terrible compared to other manufacturers. Is their a way to upgrade that piece of junk?

It's the same across all Ford vehicles. Other brands have much higher resolution cameras with night vision.

At night, these LED lights are too bright for it also. I upgraded my Reverse Light for a LED and it helped a little bit.

Maybe could be the screen resolution also. I wish there was a way to change the contrast and brightness of the picture.

Sometimes it makes me feel like the cam has a plastic film protector that needs to be removed...

My 2011 Fusion Sport with NAV screen (about same size as mustang nav screen, had a much better and sharper clearer rear view cam image.

Also I test drove Charger Scat pack and the rear view cam was horrible, so not all new cars got better cams
