Hey guys my car does this weird thing when I put it in drive and push down the gas pedal the engine will basically rev and the car won’t move for about 3 seconds it basically stalls. And then after it stalls when it does start moving the car jerks aggressively into motion is this normal.

Nope, that's certainly not normal. Time to call your dealer, I'm afraid. Good luck, and keep the thread updated (I certainly don't recall hearing this issue on the 10-speed reported yet)

As Dr.Grabster said, give it a second or two when shifting from reverse or neutral into Drive. It's not very fast at engaging Drive. (But if it takes more than two seconds, then that would be unusual.)

I was JUST going to post something about this. I get the same 2 second delay when going from reverse/park to drive/sport. Glad to see that a second or so isn't "abnormal"

I know the 6R80 was slow.
I think it has something to do with allowing people to slide into neutral and rev the engine and then slide back to D.
