I've noticed the top of the Airraid 'cold air' intake gets hot and the IATs are always higher than I'd like to see. I think opening the hood, at the existing vent right above the CAI box would help a lot.

I'm looking for replacements of the existing vents that will
1. Fit the stock openings
2. Be substantially more open to let heat out

I've seen two possibilities, the Extreme Dimensions R-spec and the Verus Engineering vents. The latter looks to perform better for heat removal, but don't actually fit the hood opening without cutting. I am trying to keep the sleeper look.

Has anyone put these in?

I got race spec in mine. Much more functional but be prepared to cut your hood a little.

Yes, I see that. I probably will have my body shop do it, maybe even paint them body color to match. Did you buy the rain shields? I wondering how they work.
