Hey guys I just bought a 2016 mustang GT 2 weeks ago and I am having a problem with the right turn signal. I posted on another mustang form which i will link that has the videos to see what i am talking about since i cant upload videos on here: http://mustangforums.com/forum/the-...0-2016-mustang-right-turn-signal-problem.html

This problem has only happened to me 2 times now and when I tun the car off and back on it fixes it, and the right turn signal work fine. If you can not see the videos for some reason this is what happens: when I put on the right turn signal it isn't the normal on-off on-off beat, it goes on then off then on really quick and off really quick over and over sounding off beat, then when looking at the sequential right turn signal in the back while it is doing it, it only does 2 of the 3 lights rather than on in the 1-2-3 format it goes on 1-2 and the 3rd never comes on.

If any of you have had this problem before please let me know what it was or if you know what it is please let me know and how to possibly fix it or if I should just take it into a ford dealership. Also getting that fixed would it fall under factory warranty?

Thanks everyone!

While hard to troubleshoot, ghosts in the machine are definitely covered under warranty.

Hey Parker,

Congrats on your new Mustang!

I do recommend taking it into the Ford Dealership for diagnosis. You can find one near you here. Let me know when you do, and send over a private message with your full name, phone number, VIN, mileage and servicing dealership. I'll see how I can help!

There is a ford message for this problem.

SSM 45895 - 2015-2016 Mustang Built On Or Before 4/22/2016 - Rear Tail Lamp, Turn Lamp Or Stop Lamp Partial Outage - DTCs B1271, B1272, B1273, B1274, B1275 or B1276.
Some 2015 and 2016 Mustang vehicles built on or before 4/22/2016 may exhibit a partial outage of the rear tail, turn signal or stop lamps following a vehicle start with a low battery. This may be accompanied by any combination of DTCs B1271, B1272, B1273, B1274, B1275 and B1276. The condition typically clears on vehicle restart. Reprogram the BCMB module to the latest calibration using IDS release 101.01 or higher. Calibration files may also be obtained at www.motorcraftservice.com. Use applicable labor operations from Section 10 of the SLTS manual and use causal part 13C788.
