Hi,

This question/request is for 2016 Mustang GT owners.
I have 6MT Premium, if that helps.

I just got my rear bumper repaired from light rear-end collision. Work was done alright, but I saw something in the rear tire well that I can't remember if it is the way it is supposed to be.

It is on the other side of the bumper from the picture.
And above the two push pins.

In the tire well, it looks like there is a cutout. It's the same on the passenger side.

My question to you is if this is normal or if I'm missing a trim piece.

Thank you for your response in advance!

I have a 2017 base gt and mine looks just like that. Can't see it being different for a premium car.

Normal. I know this because I broke the brackets pictured behind the fuzzy liner the ONE F'NG TIME I took my car to Chicago... and it decided to SNOW STORM... and the COMPACTED SNOW AND ICE GOT STUCK IN THE WHEEL WELL... and ultimately DESTROYED MY BUMPER MOUNTING as the suspension went up and down. Luckily just hose two brackets, though. :)

I think these are mounting spots for the GT350 rock flaps.
