a sunroof will be cool! any chance of that happening?

Not that it would ever happen but I would give my left nut for a targa top. Or something like the glass roof option on the s197 but one that actually opens the entire length.

Is this when the online configurator will be available too? Or does that usually come out a week or two after? It would be nice to see the California special package before blindly ordering one or just hearing the differences lol

EcoBoost 100A and GT 300A were cloth only in 2015, but there is an option for Ebony Leather showing for 2016. There is also a package labeled "Int/Whl Pkg" which likely is how you get the leather (and a unique wheel, perhaps) in the 100A & 300A models.

2016 EcoBoost 200A and 201A now show a "Pony Package" option, likely to take over for the 50 Year App Pkg which goes away, much like the 2016 GT 401A gets the California Special option now that the 50 Year App Pkg is gone after 2015.

2016 GT 400A & 401A now list the 3.73 Torsen Differential as a stand alone option. That will be great for those who want the extra gearing without all the Perf Pkg content.

2016 V6's seem unchanged. All of Ford's efforts are going into the ever-popular GT and CAFE-friendly EcoBoost models.

Order Guides will hopefully come out by month's end so that we get a clearer picture of 2016.

Thanks Brian! Man...I don't understand why they are screwing the V6 out of getting leather. It's a simple option to add.

Curious about the wheel. Wonder if it's a new design

Anyway main post is updated.

So is the CS package available only on 401A or would it be offered in 400A as well ?

No direct information but the CS package was always on a Premium level car with unique leather seat covers and door inserts-I wouldn't expect that to change.

They are trying to ween the public away from the V6 and move everyone in the Ecoboost model/mode (not just with Mustang)
Oh I mean I know why...it's just lame. Let the consumer decide. Don't force someone into the EB.

Well if the GT/CS or Pony Package gives us the blacked out billet grille with the Tribar on the sides am sure it will fit the V6 mustangs because they have the same front end. I'll be putting one on my V6 as soon as I can afford it

Do you know if the PP can be equipped to select 3.55 gears instead of the 3.73s? Literally this is my only hesitation with the PP - I don't really like the 3.73s for DD.

Looks to be 401A only. In 2011-2014, it had its own code (402A), but it was always a rung up on the ladder.

Won't know until the order guides show up. The order banks won't let us test compatibility of options just yet. Just a few more weeks and we'll all know for sure......

Auto makers are forced to do this it's not their fault. Live it up NA while you can. :headbang:

They can offer the EB all they want. Let them make the sales by offering incentives on it.

If someone wants a NA V6 with leather then let this be America where we have that choice.

Ford could completely offer the V6 in premium. It's Ford who is making this decision not to.
