Thanks for the compliment! As for the plate mount I used a Craig's custom bracket but I reverse mounted it so it sits lower on the bumper.Hey MANDARK, killer ride!!! Can you tell me what you did to mount your front license plate?
Mines about to fall off lol
.You ride is sick as always and I do enjoy the IG photos also! Can't get enough of those TE37s. I remember you used Lamin-x for tinting your fog lights and was wondering how yellow is it when on? When off, it looks like a nice JDM golden yellow, but when you turn it on, does it produce that nice JDM golden yellow or more of a neon lighter yellow? Do you think another layer of lamin-x (two layers on top of each other) will produce more of that JDM golden yellow?
Asking because I am thinking about tinting the fogs yellow too
So I went ahead and tinted the fogs with Lamin-x and it was a very light yellow as you said. I placed another layer on top of passenger side fog to see if it makes a difference. It is more yellow and closer to what I want. Here are some quick $hitty photos I took of them below. I would love to do the HID or LED conversions and get 3K bulbs to get that true golden JDM yellow, but the current OEM fog lights looks sealed up. I will have to look for after market ones and cuztomize it. I think I will stick with OEM and the 2 layer Lamin-x for now. Thanks for the compliment! As for the plate mount I used a Craig's custom bracket but I reverse mounted it so it sits lower on the bumper.

.
Thanks man!
Good question I want to say it's a bit softer yellow and not super golden iirc. I'll check for you when it gets dark out
As for double layering I think that might cause more light cutout than you'd want. Honestly the best way to get the "JDM" yellow is with a good 3000k HID bulb/ballast set up. That will output a yellow beam without having to use a film. Hope that helps some.
looks sick! i really love the look you have createdI suppose this thread is due for some updates.
A big thanks to Derrick and Anarchy Motive for making this shift knob happen. It fits perfect with the theme I've got going on. STARWARS!!!!
You could always go the route that the owner of Falkor did and do a custom off-road set up. :love:So I went ahead and tinted the fogs with Lamin-x and it was a very light yellow as you said.
