One thing to take away though, the R was over a second slower than the 14 Z/28 they rested two years ago.. But they've also repaved the track twice since then, and they use a number of different drivers, none of whom are pro racers. So take the results with a grain of salt lol

Real results will come when the Best Drivers Car times are revealed with Randy driving them all at Laguna Seca.

Actually, less than a second. 9/10ths of a second, to be exact.

Unless they tested all cars, same conditions/day, with same pro driver, entirely all the lightning lap data is insufficient. There are no benchmarks.

Was at a local event for fun. Ran 2 full 40 minute sessions again with NO limp mode. 3 R's all ran good times with somewhat experienced drivers. I thought I would be way down the list. 1 faster than my base by .03 and 2 slower. 1 at .1 and the other at .36. My best lap at 2.97 on the long track at Autobahn. 1 Hellcat manual at 3.03 and 1 Viper gets at 2.473 and an ACR at 2.31. New Vette not GS at 3.01 and a 17 Camaro v8 did 3.12. A full tilt Porsche gt3 ran 2.78. New Jaguar F SVS ran 3.01

Kind of excited my base has performed this well. Now time for new tires and changing all the fluids.
