Does anyone make a Surge tank for these cars? I haven't seen one, but I haven't really been looking. I know there are companies like Radium that make universal kits. If you are getting fuel starvation, then I would look into one.

Just curious where did you get your tune done? I was looking at shops to get this done in the future.

180km/h = 111mph

Thanks for all the responses and ideas.

I'm well below the speed limiter, at about 110 mph. The car doesn't stop accelerating, it dies; motor dead!

I'm on a straight, so no fuel sloshing about. For those of you whose cars cut out in left-handers, does it 'restart' itself (i.e., keep going)? Mine restarts after about 30 seconds, but I have to push the button. Do you get a code when this happens?

There is a bump on the straight were the motor cuts, that's why I asked about the trunk fuel pump switch. Maybe I got a sensitive switch, and that bump triggers the switch.

Monopoly - Go see DaSilva Racing. They custom dyno tune your car, and I think they're the best in the country. My car dynos at 424 Hp, about a 45 Hp bump from stock. They don't just go for peak numbers either, they tune to get a smooth curve with high torque and power. They stand behind their tunes as well; the tuning expert is a very successful drag racer, and tunes the nuts of his 5.0 (I think he's running 10s in the 'stock' class with slick and skinnies).

Yeah, I've learned that at 2-2.5 mile track when the gauge reaches 1/4 tank, I will get the 50 miles left warning. Two laps later I get the 25 miles left warning, and 1 lap after that the engine is cutting out from fuel starvation.

Thanks Ansibe!

I've heard good things about them and they are not that far from me. Looking to get suspension work done first. Base GT setup is freakin driving me crazy.
