2015 SYNC infinite loop crashing

Have a 2015 GT Premium with Nav and any time my bluetooth phone is connected my SYNC goes crashes and restarts every few minutes. Backup camera works intermittently, having all sorts of issues.

Ford is claiming my phone is the issue (Galaxy S7, just bought a new one) though the problem started with my last phone and also manifests with my iPhone 5S. Dealing with customer support has been a nightmare as they are stating the issue is with my phone since its not on their list of supported devices yet (:shrug.

Just wanted to check in to see if anyone else is having similar problems?

Have done several hard resets and pulled the fuse when the system is hanging (first froze randomly less than a month into purchasing the vehicle last July).

I don't recall seeing this issue mentioned on here before so I won't be much help.

Them blaming the phone is just silly. What they are implying is that if the phone isn't supported so we should upgrade our car when we upgrade our phone...

The 5S uses bluetooth 4.0. The S7 uses BT 4.2. My phone uses BT 4.1 I have never seen this issue with Sync 2. If the issue also occurred with the 5S it's an issue with the car.

Also the backup camera shouldn't have anything to do with your phone.

From my personal experience you have to keep pushing them until they do something.

Does it operate ok when not paired or if it is paired with a different device ?

Have you updated Sync to the latest version?
