I suspect a bunch of base cars will get an upgraded stereo/screen.

I don't buy cars every 2-3 years, and I'm in a more comfortable place at the moment. It makes a lot of sense to get all the creature comforts. I've skimped a lot in the past, and I'm frankly tired of that.

i usually never skimp out and go with the highest trim myself, but i looked over the feature list of the premium and nothing seemed to be a must have to me. perhaps im dead wrong.

I definitely didn't think premium was worth it at all, either.

I just like to drive; apart from the first time I get into it, I don't look at the dash or play with buttons. Save that $4,000 and put it into something else you'd like more...

i think my wife would enjoy the heated/cooled seats and dual zone climate control. ill just tell her i got it for her.

One thing I'm confused about, the performance pack says it has the engine turned aluminum dash...is that premium only..?

i think you'll get it with the track pack too. i was playing around w/ the configurator just now and you can see an interior shot of the base dash with the alu dash on the base gt
