2015 Mustang INTERIOR Pictures

Not the gap I'm talking about, I'm talking about the gap on the outer edges go the center stack where it meets up with the center console, it looks terrible imo.



I know about those, I'm referring to things like the Taurus door handles which are chromed plastic.



I don't see anything upscale about it, I think it would have looked nice in 2005, it's too retro, the materials are not up to par for a car that will be well over 50k for special editions. The overall design is not cohesive, the gauges look cheap and a victim of cost cutting. And after seeing the really nice looking designs Ford released pictures that they didn't use, it's clear that the focus was to save every nickel possible. Even the 15 Challenger is getting a much improved interior that shames the new Mustangs, and when you look at the base interior, without the large touchscreen and toggle switches, it gets even worse, it's downright embarrassing.

Now I don't say this for any other reason other than that I'm very disappointed in the interior, I slowly warmed up to the exterior styling, and really like it after seeing it in person, the interior just doesn't match up to the exotic/Aston look of the exterior. Now, my hope is at least for the quality of the materials we are seeing pre-production parts that don't match what will actually go into production.

Mustangs of all trims have the same basic interior including SE's and limited editions. Is this news to you? Money goes into performance and exclusivity, the way it should be and the way it always will be for Mustangs. Luxury trims don't exist anymore as they don't sell enough to justify the cost. You want a 50k interior, an American pony car is not the place to look.

Calling the interior nice for 2005 is ridiculous. It's a huge leap over the current interior. Every part of it is more modern looking and has better materials. What else can you ask for in a car that will cost a few thousand more at most and vastly outperform the current car?

I'm just happy they put the speedo back on the correct side. I was going to pick up a 13 gt when they came out, but just couldn't get over the "wrongness" of looking on the left at the speedo. Call me OCD but it was a deal breaker lol.

I agree, I've gotta have the Center Gauges. I don't care for the 3 Air Vents either, but this has been covered Over and Over, Non Eco-Boost and GT Models get an Oil Pressure and a Vacuum Pressure Gauge.

It measures the vacuum levels inside a naturally aspirated engine, as opposed to a boost gauge which measures air pressure inside a turbo or supercharged engine.
There was a time when a vacuum gauge had a very important role. Back when engines were carbureted, or multiple-carbureted. I feel it's more of a retro thing in the 2015, since the ECU controls most everything in the engine. I like the dash layout with the 2 center gauges. I think it gives the dash a more exotic supercar look, even if the gauges aren't really needed anymore.

And it's been one of the top complaints people have had with the Mustang for years, I guess that's news to you. Just because they start out cheap doesn't mean the more expensive models should be stuck with there same cheap interior.

That makes absolutely no sense, sounds like something Ford's pr team would say to justify cost cutting by the bean counters. I don't see cheap interiors on other vehicles costing 50k and upwards, there's simply no excuse in this era for this, and part of the reason American cars have been criticized for crappy interiors. I am not willing to accept mediocrity or excuses from Ford, if I pay 50k for a car, it better have an interior that is up to par. Take a look at the new Challenger interior, I'm not a fan of it's overall look, but it looks to be made of much higher quality materials all around.

It's not ridiculous, they are very similar and materials are NOT better, there's still volumes of that same cheap hard black plastic everywhere, in some areas it's an improvement, in others it took a step back in my opinion. People shouldn't have to accept crummy interiors in 2015 just because they are buying an American car, we should demand nothing but the best From Ford.

Would never buy one of those overweight pigs, but sad that even it makes the Mustang interior look dated and cheap.

Coming from someone who owns a Challenger. The interior is no better. The electronics are old, my Sun roof rattles,my doors rattle, my dash rattles oh and the windshield rattles in the cold...at 21k miles. Oh and my Boston Acoustic 2k sound system from Dodge both door speakers and the rear sub blew I don't even push the system. The problem is your fooling yourself that you think the mustang interior is cheap and will believe a Photoshop photo. The challenger interior you posted for 2015 is identical to the current Charger which in person is far from impressive. Not to mention the confused direction Dodge is going. "We have a Retro Challenger exterior!!! But a confusing trying to be hip and new interior!"

Everyone has to find something to whine about. I find it people justifying to themselves publicly they think they are happy with what they have.
