Are the '15 - '17 keys compatible with the '18s? Anyone tried?

Very funny. It’s the 15-17 guys who want the new fob because it is better than the old one. At least the new fob key can turn the lock. Ha! You can’t possibly have lost one already?

LOL, no.... I have a spare I bought for my "15 that's been sitting in my key collection and it would be nice to be able to program it as a spare for this car so I don't have to buy another one.

Only one way to find out Hawk. Grab your favorite beverage, get in the car, and go though the programming sequence. Then let us know the outcome. :D

I actually looked into this before cause I prefer the look of the keys for 15-17. But seems like they will not work for the 18's. At least when I checked the FCCID are different, so most likely they'll not be able to transfer signals between the car and key.
