2015 Gt PP rear end shutter

Have a 15 GT 5.0 PP with no mods. Car is a DD with easy use.
Recent temps have been in the 30 to 40 degree range, not sure this is a cause but temps in the 50 degree range this particular problem not noticed.
In morning backing out of garage into the street then cutting wheels to left or right to proceed down the street produces a shuttering shake and noise similar to a a sticking parking brake when you first start off(parking brake not in use here.
There is no noise or shutter on straight drive or turns or acceleration. I should have cked if shutter is still there after car and all oils were warmed up.

Any ideas?

Based on what I've read on this forum, sounds like Torsen differential binding. Please note I don't own a 6th gen yet.

I may be way off base with this but... My GTPP is also a DD and temps are in the 30's and 40's here and when turning the wheel left or right while pulling out of my driveway, because of the tires being summer only, I get some chopping / noise. This is because the tires are cold and not connecting with the road. Not sure this is the same issue you experience but sounds like it may be. When temps are in the high 40's / 50's I don't experience it. Same as the rears don't connect on the cold ground until they warm up a bit.

You may be on to something. I know the problems with summer tires when the temps go below 40. The noise, slippage in my post is also accompanied with a distince body movement or shutter(thats with very light throttle). So it may not be the Torsen but more the tires. Something to think about. Thanks

Following this! I had it happen but it was only sometimes and it could easily be the tires as temps were cold and dont recall this when tires had be driven on for a bit.

Keep in mind, with a helical gear diff, when you're light on the throttle, there is very little binding going on. Sure, the oil is cold and thick, but lock up occurs in proportion to the amount of torque applied to the axle. Differentiation should still be very free unless you're goosing the throttle during the maneuver.

I get a bit of diff locking from the torsen diff when pulling out of parking lots or spaces when the car/weather is cold. Just a few quick shudders from the diff on tight turns. Goes away after a couple miles.

I had the exact same thing, all the time.

Then I changed the tires and it hasn't happened since, not once.

I'm almost positive this happens because of cold tires losing traction momentarily.

Tires, mine does it every night leaving work when the temps are below 40. When heat gets into the tires it is all good.

My 2015 GT/PP does this all the time also. I only notice it when doing sharp turns at low speed (parking lots). I can't wait to get rid of these P-zeros. I only bought the car in November so its been cold almost everyday.

Felt better after i got my new BFGs A/S on. Probably a big component was the summer tires being so cold.
