Can you elaborate on how caliper covers are dangerous? I searched and couldn't find anything to support this.
Pretty simple - affect heat transfer from your calipers...

I think they have the brembo stickers on CJ pony parts. Still though, if you get your calipers done at a shop you're lookin at $300-400. Wouldn't heat transfer actually be a benefit of the metal covers?

I am debating the same thing, I don't like red because i think it is to common. But black does not stand out as much. I was also thinking of yellow because yellow on a blue car doesn't look bad. Whatever you choose post some pics.

Only problem with yellow is u will constantly have to clean the break dust off because it will stand out so much

Where I'm from the usual rate is between $100-$200 for professional calipers painted. The shop that did mine charged me $140 which included the brembo label and final clear coat.
