Why woud they make more from teh s197? Prices are going to start falling on them once the new car is revealed and the 2015 is going to be more expensive for sure.

Thus the reasoning behind an anniv package. To preserve some value, make them special, and pocket those good profit margins on badges, stripes and colors.

Also, we're talking about essentially a 10 year old platform by now. The same car costs significantly less to produce now than it did when it was "new" parts and technology.

Still can't believe it's already been 10 years since the last major model overhaul. And it's still almost matching the Camaro in sales. Pretty damn impressive if u ask me.

Slow and steady wins the race now. Camaro surged and burned and this latest refresh was a big disappointment. IMO Ford releases a special package towards the second half of the year and from that point through the 2015 release, Camaro will be in the rear view mirror.
