2012 TPMS compatibility?

I have a set of 2012 TPMS sensors and a new set of wheels for my 2015

will the sensors work or do the 2015/16's have a different type?

2015/2016 have a new sensors

From what I understand, they will take away the warning light. But they will not read correctly on the dash.

Not compatible.

So they will work in the sense the light wont pop up, but they will not actively read the PSi

My recommendation is to use new sensors for the specific platform so they function properly.
