The factory mods Ford applied to the PP car makes the Boss look like a joke or a last ditch money grab. The PP is that much better.
LOL okay pal.

Yes the GTPP may be "better" but the amount of work Ford put into the Boss 302 is hardly a "joke" or a last ditch effort. The Boss has done VERY well and is a great car.

But I will say a number of your posts have given me reason to laugh.

Don't get me wrong, I love the BOSS. I love it and it is a great car. I am just loving my new 15 PP. It is truly incredible and puts my old race car to shame on the track. I can not wait to get this on the track DEC 5th

Who said anything about the work put into it^. He was saying that the newer one, has newer tech, enabling better performance. Making the old one a joke in comparison given the metrics we are speaking; performance.

Why would anyone even consider anything but a s550..?

Unless you are looking for rare looks..? Then at that point, why does performance matter so much?

Ok I agree thats definitely not the case with the boss, and its a great car, but tech wise the s550 if far advanced.Totally new platform, irs, new front suspension.

Oh yeah, progress is a great thing! Technology wise the GTPP is leaps beyond the Boss in several areas

I've owned both a track modded 13 GT and now my 15 GT PP. I can say with confidence that the S550 GT PP in stock form is at least as good as my lowered and modded 13 GT was. I have yet to track my 15 but I had probably 1000 miles on the track in my 13. The 13 stock was horrible, like a joke bad. With FRPP shocks/struts/springs and BMR Panhard and upgrading to 285/35/19's on all 4 corners it was 100X better. I'd guess the 15 GT PP on a track is probably about as good out of the box as my modded 13 was. Now once you mod up a 15 it will not even be close. I absolutely HATED the live axle rear end dancing on faster parts of the tracks, its not a fun feeling.

Yes but the s550 even with the pp has a serious wheel hop issue, and I consider myself a pretty good driver, but that wheel hop needs to be addressed. Now cornering thats a different story, awesome!!!!.

tech wise goes to the Boss, who else can get that performance out of a live axle production car? Simple, old engineered to the max and build solid!

pacettr- I'm really interested in hearing your thoughts since you have a 13 Boss LS. Have you driven a new GTPP?

To all- I don't think anyone can argue that the tech in the new GT isn't far superior to previous years. It is almost guaranteed to be better from old model to new model. Just look at what dodge did with the new Challenger interior and I'm sure the interior in the new Camaro is going to be 100x better too. However, I would take a better driving experience over better tech. I'd much rather drive the slower and antiquated E30 M3 than a new F82 M4. Different strokes for different folks I guess.
