@soldier989 None of your image links are working. We would definitely like to see your progress there.

Hey guys I'm having a little problem and was wondering if anyone had any advice or experienced this as well. During WOT when the revs are around 6k and I take my foot off the gas abruptly the a/f ration dips as low as 9.0:1 for a split second then steadies around 13:1 or 12.5:1

This seems kind of scary to me but I am also very ignorant on the topic. Is this ok/normal when you pull off the gas at high revs in sport mode? I am also untuned and have Fordguys550's carbon fiber air intake. Any advice is greatly appreciated! The a/f ratio also looks pretty normal most of the time staying between 12.5:1 and 15.0:1 under light acceleration

I wouldn't worry too much.....are you taking your foot completely off? its probably the same stock but you never payed attention. also....if you leave your foot off long enough, while still at high rpm, you should see the arf go to 20.....that's because at that point the fuel is shut off until it slows down close to idle. youll only see that while engine braking.

yes that happens exactly! I never noticed the a/f go all the way to 9.0:1 with my stock set up, although i bet it was because i wasn't looking for it. just don't want my engine blowing up from a throttle body and intake pipe :D Thanks Fordguys550!

I wouldn't worry about what it reads when you let off. if it makes you feel better ill look at mine today, but its a MT so might be programmed differently. and just so you know, 9:1 is rich, so you wouldn't hurt anything even if it was something wrong. now, 9:1 while cruising or at WOT is a problem lol. but seeing it briefly when you let off isn't going to hurt anything

I went back and read the posts. Good to know that mine isn't the only one making noise. Did you happen to open yours yet and see what is making the clanking noise?
No, I started to loosen the screws, got two started but they stayed really tight turning. At first I thought they were straked or something, maybe some type of locktight. Mine also only makes noise when you move it one way, so since I have company I figured I'd just go ahead and install it. Still haven't got the adapter yet.

Ugh, I hate imgur. Click the link then Refresh the page. Basically....the 5.0 tube will not work.
Phooey, sucks the 5.0 tube did not work. I bet that slight angle difference made all of the difference in the world. Thanks for looking into it.

Yes, it's normal I have 2105 V6 auto, normal cruise is 14.0, WOT 12.0 when letting off WOT spikes to 20.0 and I run my stang very hard and paddle shift only in Sport.
