Sorry if this is a dumb question, I don’t have a lot of experience with changing exhausts. I have a 3 inch corsa cat back exhaust right now, but don’t enjoy the sound as much. I’m looking into the borla switch fire mid pipe; however, it’s 2.5 inch. Would this fit in my 3 inch exhaust? Or would significant welding be required?
Also would this cause significant power reduction? The research I’ve done seems to suggest yes, but ppl have also said the limiting factor is the catalytic converters not anything below that. The car I have right now does have the whipple on it.
