Hi everyone, i just bought my first Mustang and love the car. I really have hard time getting used to gears and shifting. i never had a car where clutch pedal height is so long. i already removed the spring, and i can definitely hear tuds and it gets pretty notchy when its below 60 degrees. My main question is how should i shift properly without losing momentum in 1st gear.My car seems to have very shiort first gear, i have 3.15 gear ratio and 6spd Manual in V6 ,do you guys think that i would be able to adjust my clutch closer to the floor, i feel like working clutch in and out takes too much time. It feels like it takes me forever from 1st to 2nd gear.
I appreciate any input, and im looking forward to enjoy my Mustang.
cheers

Not sure what you mean by losing momentum. The more you drive it the more youll get used to it. The MT82 is quite a different trans than Im used to coming from an 4.6 S197 platform and even the Focus ST, but over time you probably wont have a problem. the 3.15s probably will require you to rev it up a bit more to shift though due to the gearing.
