Ordered a set of wheels, wanted 19x9.5 +30 but didn't want to wait so went with +38. Was considering running 275/40 all the way around, I'm dropped ~1" on Swift springs. Is this the right tire size or should I consider something else? Thanks

275/40 will work so will 285/35.. the 285/35 will be a bit lower sidewall wise then the 275/40 ..
id say run the 275/40 it will look more filled out and ride a bit better also .. i had 275/35 on my old setup and it rode hard and the sidewall wasnt filling out the wells like i would have liked

Depends on the tire. Some are wider than others. For the ones that run narrower, 285/35R19. For the ones that are wider, 275/35R19. IMO 275/40R19 is too big with that much drop, but that's just my preference. 275/35 is also wider.

I'm looking to pair up the American Muscle 2013GT500 style (19x9.5 et35) with the Michelin Pilot Sport4S (275/35/19)

I'm hoping that because it runs wide those extra inches will give me a nice flush look.

another ... there is plenty of room for a 275/40 tire.. and cj springs are 1.4 front and 1.2 rear drop i think

I was recently quoted for a set of F14's running 19x9.5+25 square configuration. Can anybody give me an idea of how this would look? I don't want to run a spacer, and I was thinking 275/40 for tires. Thoughts or experience?

Front would be flush or just a tiny bit of poke. Rear would poke out a few mm.

so do you think x9" would be better, or +30? I want them to look as concave as I can, with the size I'm working with.

+30 would work well.
