Do any of your U.K. 18+ cars do this :

And if so, under what circumstances ?

Cheers,

Hhmm, interesting ...

So that’s before you touch anything other than the door handle ?

I can’t say I have noticed mine doing it, I will have to check.

I did wonder if it was omitted from the change of switch panel for RHD but you have blown that theory out of the water.

It’s probably something they took away when they put the double horn back in the 20’s ... lol

Yep mine does it when you open the door and get in before starting up.

Mine doesn't. So it doesn't appear to be a RHD thing. They've probably removed it in 2020. :frown:

I was going to PM you and @RasJeremy as all our cars rolled out of Flatrock at a similar time and I wanted to investigate the 2020 / LHD / RHD thing.

Yeah I checked last night in the dark and my Pony is dead, as in its got no heartbeat ... lol

@Gregs24 - 19 registered or 19 build ? I wonder if it was only a short run before they added the second horn back in or maybe it's not even applicable to UK cars / UK regulations ? (Although my Kia has a horn that belongs on Noddy's car ... lol).

Any of the 'window' sticker trackers should tell you - but at the moment the links I had when I followed my build all seem to be down ... ? :frown:

Do you have your window sticker with the car paperwork ?

If so, its the 'blend date' that you can find on the top row of text (8th July 2020) :

Other than that I guess your dealer could get the estimated production date off their system (which in my case was pretty close to the window sticker blend date) ?

Hope that helps ?

If you don't have the window sticker anymore, you can also check on Etis. You need to log in though. Send me your VIN in a private message and I'll look it up for you.
