'17 GT350 vs '17 Camaro SS 1LE

I'm sure you could look into it if you want. Being a preproduction car and not being able to buy it yet means that it's most likely a manufacturers car. If that's the case then I believe you must have a Manu tag on it and keep a person able to drive those on hand on public roads.

It has more to do with what type of car it is. Many cars with manufacturer plates are nothing special and ate pulled from the line or are a competitors vehicle and require only permission from the OEM to drive them.

I wouldn't believe anything Chevy Trent writes. They dump on Ford products all the time. What has it been 6 months now they have been running Mustang vs camaro stories and the only the only way camaro has won has been for them (motor trend) to mod the camaro and down grade the Mustangs performance. Journalism should be unbiased but Chevy Trend moded that to, they moded it to be biased .

Not all the time. If the car is better and faster they really can't deny it. I ve seen the one where they compared the z28 to the gt350 r and Randy Pobst had a blast with the mustang. He loved the car and praised it. I don't think he will intentionally drive a faster car slower to make the other one look better. He always gives his best when he drives them on the track. If i remember right, they even proved the heating issues of the early c7 zo6's on the track.

Yet it's a parts bin model, on a parts bin car. Why are they charging $6500 and $8000 on two models that are nearly identical?

Now... when this thing can't beat an auto ATS-V at Laguna Seca (1:39.65), you will understand that it is only worth $45,000. Wanna bet this package SKYROCKETS before the model year is over?

Wanna bet at least a $600 increase was left off the table due to threats by their own fanbase?

The zl1's MSRP was BUSTED. They failed to come in under $59,995. The zl1 and 1le are directly related. It's cheap and cheesy...

It's quick, but all that was also achieved with the 10-speed. The 1.02g around the corner is less than I was expecting. Looking forward to some independent drive reviews.

On a side note, I'd be willing to be the 350R could achieve similar numbers with the 10-speed.

Honestly, the 1LE couldnt beat the Auto ATS-V's Laguna time of 1:39. A time in which the 2012 Boss 302 ran Laguna in years ago.

The 1LE was your only hope against a GT350... Swing and a miss.

Where did you get that info?Nevermind it was on camaro forums. Looks like zl1 starts around 62 grand. The prices are pretty good.

The MSRP shifted back to the zl1. That is GM for you. The ZL1LE is a shared program. Essentially, they took $3000 from the 1LE and put it on the zl1.

What was

1LE: $47,000
ZL1: $60,000

Now:

1LE: $44,000
ZL1: $63,000

...
