Flex fuel/E85 tunes are fine for use with the 170 degree thermostat. The only "draw back", if you want to call it that, is if you use ethanol often, it's recommended you change your oil sooner.

Thanks, Derek@Lethal.

Anymore feedback on any issues with running e85, tank after tank after tank? Some folks have said to mix in a tank of 93 every 4/5 tanks of E85.

I have a 160, and I have the same results. Stays around 180ish.

Hmmmmm....Never heard of that before. Hopefully you can find it or Terry and others can chime in.
Wish I had bookmarked it when I saw it, but naturally I did not.

Nope, we've seen nothing negative about running solely E85. We've run exclusively E85 in several of our shop cars and the cars always ran better vs using other fuels.
Thanks man:thumbsup:

How many miles is "often" or is it just daily driving as to when you should change oil? The reason I ask is because I use Amsoil and dont daily drive the car.

I'll bet the E85/cool thermostat caveat is due to more potential for moisture buildup in oil since it won't evaporate off as readily because of the lower operating temps. Not to mention E85 is hygroscopic to boot, which would compound this.

Hence frequent oil changes.....
