Nice! Congrats! When did you place your order?Totally psyched waiting for my birthday gift. a 2016 GT fastback with auto, 401A, 68B 51 Ebony in magnetic. Dealer said probably building next week, the week of my birthday!!!
Ugh you are telling me. I am worried because my build date was supposed to be yesterday, but I was told by Ford that it is still in production (with a delivery estimate of 3 March). However, I was told yesterday by Military Autosource (my "dealer") that the actual estimated delivery date is now late March.... Not sure who has the most current/accurate information and where I fly back to in the States is dependent on if my Mustang is ready for pickup. :frusty:The waiting is the hardest part.
I was able to get a discount through the overseas military program; however, I was still able to find the same Mustang build cheaper elsewhere - so they price matched it. Thank you for your support and for your service as well! :cheers:I wonder if the plant builds GT's on one shift or day EB's on another and so forth.
I can see where that could hold things up a bit. Hope you got the military discount. I received the LEO discount on mine. Thank you Ford. Thank you for your service Rob.
Yeah, I have the same concern as I am not flying into the States until the week of 20 March and the car could get there as soon as 3 March. From what I have been reading - there should not be more than 10-20 miles on the vehicle at pickup (but I am not sure how accurate that is).I'm actually concerned about leaving the car at the dealer after it comes off the truck that some service jockey is going to joy ride it then they "service it" pre delivery. I know what my friend did when he worked at a dealer when we were kids. Hoping i can influence them to release it to me same day.
