the MkI and the MkII Focus RSs were also pretty limited production wise. this isn't a new thing.I just don't understand why Ford made the RS into a limited build. I can see if they took the "focus" out of the equation, made it into a whole new car, then I can see just the moniker RS being something special. I mean, its not like we haven't seen this before. Focus RS always been mass produced in Europe for ages and we are getting the same 2.3 mustang engine just with a different turbo and reworked intake..we always had the evo, STi, and Golf R. I don't know.... The more I think about this I'm glad I just got the eb mustang. I just can't see myself paying over $40k for this. I bet you after the initial year run Ford will mass produce the focus RS. Why wouldn't they? We have other car companies that are releasing compact turbo awd and I'm sure Ford will like to stay relevant but who knows.
